Thousands of women will once again put their fitness to the test in a 5k run for charity.
A date has been set for this year’s Race for Life event in Hartlepool. It will be held at 11am on Sunday, July 3.
Once again, the race will be held on the seafront promenade at Coronation Drive and will raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Every day, 40 people are diagnosed with cancer in the North East and the charity is raising funds for lifesaving research.
But organisers say Race for Life is also a perfect way for people to get fit while supporting a worthy cause.
