Wolves are back in town

ONE of the region’s best unsigned bands will headline at Hartlepool’s dedicated music venue by popular demand.

Chased By Wolves will perform at The Studio in Tower Street next Saturday.

The Newcastle and Sunderland-based band have received national praise from Tom Robinson of BBC6 music, who hailed their crunching guitars and sledgehammer rhythm.

The five-piece band blend blues, country and alternative folk to create their own style of Americana.

They are coming back to Hartlepool after making a good impression with audiences at an event in December last year.

Hartlepool music promoters Bonus Grooves Ents and rockpig are presenting the gig with support on Saturday, May 12.

Support will be provided from The Last Spectacular and The Broken Broadcast, also based in the North East.

Admission is £3 in advance and £5 on the doors which open at 8pm.

Advance tickets are available from the venue, at Crinson Guitars, in Park Road, Hartlepool, and at www.wegottickets.com
