A PARISH council is encouraging potential councillors not to miss the deadline to put themselves forward.
All seven seats on Greatham Parish Council must be elected including current sitting councillors who wish to continue.

Greatham parish has been divided into wards for the first time following an electoral review in 2012.
Four councillors will need to be returned from the South Fens ward and three from the village and surrounding area.
Parish council chairman Brian Walker said: “The parish elections tend to be overshadowed by the parliamentary and borough elections but we do need people to perform this important local role.
“It is especially important to find people willing to stand on South Fens where in the past the parish council has found it difficult to attract candidates.”
Parish elections will also take place for Headland Parish Council.
One seat in each of the 11 Hartlepool Borough Council wards in the will be contested on May 7.
The deadline for MP, borough and parish candidates is 4pm tomorrow.
Nomination packs for anyone wishing to standing as a candidate in the local, parliamentary or parish elections are be available from the council’s Elections Office at the Civic Centre in Victoria Road.
The deadline for receipt of nominations for all the elections is 4pm on Thursday.
The deadline for registration for inclusion on the Electoral Register is Monday, April 20, or Tuesday April 21 for postal voting.
