Animals can’t ask for help

THANK you to everyone who has donated to the pet food collection at Morrisons over the last 12 months.

Also to the management, staff and security officer Jonathan for their support.

Permission has kindly been given by the management of Morrisons for the pet food collections to continue during 2013, dates to be arranged.

Money placed into sealed tins is always given directly to the store and pet food purchased to equal the amount donated.

This is then shared between the RSPCA, Greyhound/Lurcher Rescue, King Charles Spaniel Rescue, The Cat Orphanage and The Dogs Trust.

They all take animals from Hartlepool and the surrounding area.

There is also a bin in store which is for the collection of pet food when representatives of the group are not present.

Thanks are also extended to those who have kindly donated unwanted blankets and duvets.

The animals are so grateful in this cold weather. They cannot ask for help.

Many instances of cruelty do not reach the ears of the public.

By your kindness you have helped keep lots of little hearts beating while they wait for that special someone to take them into their hearts and homes.

May I take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy Christmas and a peaceful, prosperous New Year.
