This year marks the centenary of the First World War battles of the Somme and Verdun, in France.
There were over one million casualties, many from the “pals” battalions of the north of England.
Between September 22 and 27, I will be leading a coach party from the north of England to the Somme and Verdun.
There will be an opportunity to visit a relative’s grave, as well as to see important areas of the battlefields.
We still have a few places left.
