Compromise needed

NICK Clegg has such delusions of grandeur that he thinks he can just pick and choose which party he’s next going to grace with his presence.

This is the man who has valiantly led his party to fourth place in the political league table.

Someone needs to explain to him in one of the five languages he speaks that a coalition is supposed to pool its best resources for the greater good of the country and not just oppose everything their partners propose.

There has to be compromise on both sides instead of the vicious in-fighting we see and hear about every day.

He recently boasted that he was the “tail that wagged the dog.”

At least he’s at the appropriate end of the animal!

But he’s right because Cameron does not have the spine to stand up to him.

If Ed Miliband has anything about him, and there’s no evidence of that yet, he will ignore Clegg’s overtures and let him lead his party to oblivion faster that the skeleton bob gold medal winner in Sochi!

Future headlines may read “Lib Dems to enter into coalition with the Monster Raving Loony Party as junior partners.”
