Concern over nuclear plant

When I was a kid, we used to get toys and now and again when one broke, you would look underneath and it would invariably say “Made in China”.

And now in the throw-away world we live in, China makes a massive amount of the things we purchase.

Things that have a short shelf life and are far to easily discarded.

So I’m disheartened, and not ashamed to say, frightened, and everyone in this country should be as well.

This government is trying to get China involved in building a nuclear power station at Hinkley Point.

Cameron and Osborne’s reasons are purely political, trying to impress China and showing very little or no concern for the safety of the British people. China has an appalling record on human rights and workers rights, the Government is obviously impressed by this.
