Gambling on Euro exit

Jeremy Corbyn got into Parliament during the 1983 General Election.

He literally wants to re-run that election, but this time without the Falklands factor.

He just wants to say “I told you so”.

But time has, alas, moved on and we must move with it.

Harking back to past times is all very re-assuring but gets us nowhere.

Andy Burnham wants to do everything Jeremy does too, but is not in the business of making promises without saying how he’d fund them.

Jeremy Corbyn does have one secret weapon of course.

He wants to bring us out of the EU just like Michael Foot did.

He is gambling on that one big policy initiative if he wins the leadership of the Labour Party.

He believes it will take him all the way to Downing Street.

However, I believe he is saving that idea until after he wins the leadership.
