I think that political correctness has gone way too far.
We have the leader of Hartlepool Borough Council saying that we should report “hate crimes”.
So how do we define hate?
Is it something we ate and strongly disliked, is it someone who has wronged you in some way or is it someone or something that is threatening your way of life or beliefs?
Sitting in an office saying to someone “that is racist” or “that is a crime of hate” will be very easy to do.
But let’s look at the reason behind the hate.
Look at the state our country is in with the hundreds of thousand of immigrants coming in and at what they have done to our way of life.
Our treasured and often praised but threatened NHS. the Ambulance Service, our schools, where even scripture and English history is not allowed in case of offending someone.
When you see little girls of three with their limbs purposefully disjointed and disabled to allow them to beg or to be thrown away or abandoned simply because they are a girl.
Don’t think this is the other side of the world, it’s not.
This happened in the next bed to my daughter in St Mary’s, in Paddington.
How do you think it’s wrong to hate when you come across a fellow soldier who had been butchered?
Hate is hate and if you have a reason to hate it doesn’t make any difference if it’s illegal or not.
To quote President Harry Truman: “Political correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and promoted by a sick mainstream media ...”
