Just window dressing

Former Prime Minister John Major, in a discussion with Andrew Marr, remarked that we have the best performing economy throughout Europe.

Without Britain’s financial contribution to support Europe’s finances, some £50 million a day, the EU would be sunk.

Open border immigration has caused Brussels to lose control of its borders, accompanied by a catastrophic performing euro.

Top brass of the EU have no idea where to turn to to correct the constant stream of immigrants that continue to enter the continent.

Now European voters are alarmed at the influx of immigrants. They wonder what, if anything, can be done to rectify the situation.

British citizens are of the same mind.

They are aware of David Cameron’s vapid approach to amend the EU Treaty, knowing the Brussels brigade will throw his amendments in the bin.

His renditions, so far, in his attempts amount to just window dressing.

John Majors’ talk with Andrew Marr is short on one to two major points.

Britain wants freedom from Brussels’ bureaucratic control over its sovereignty, its Parliament and, most of all, its uncontrolled immigration.
