LETTER: Disappointed at care home closure

editorial image

THE closure of the care home, Gardner House, has come as a disappointment to many who have benefited from the care provided to residents in the home.

My wife has been resident there on several occasions for both respite care and residential care.

We have found the staff and the service to be excellent.

I, and my son, would like to publicly thank all the staff at Gardner House.

Care homes often attract publicity only when things go wrong.

On this occasion I am happy to say that this home got things right, and I wish all of the staff the very best for the future.

Fred Robinson,

Honiton Way,
