REMOVING benefits from migrants will be a disaster.
I visited Paris 18 months ago. I saw a mother with three young children sleeping in a bus stop.
Pick-pocketing was out of control and the Parisian police seemed powerless to stop it.
My party of friends and I were victims within minutes of entering the Paris Metro.
That is the result of removing benefits and social housing for families who migrate.
The only answer is, alas, to stop them coming in unlimited numbers.
Otherwise we can’t have a welfare state.
We can’t have schools or a health service free at the point of delivery either.
