I would like to congratulate management and players of Hartlepool United Football Club for securing league football for another season.
Only a few weeks ago we looked doomed – relegation after a miserable season.
The writing was on the wall.
We have to thank the board for sacking Ronnie Moore and appointing Craig Hignett, who has transformed the players into having a winning mentality.
This season has been difficult for the supporters.
We have witnessed very poor performances but, thankfully just in time, we have turned the corner.
We must also remember that if it hadn’t been for Ronnie Moore this club would have been playing in non-league football, lest we forget.
Now we can look forward to some comfortable Saturdays and the hope that, next season, we can look at promotion and not relegation.
Once again well done everybody.
