As a Hartlepudlian born and bred, who moved away to Cumbria in 1999, I rarely visit the town.
However, on a visit recently, I was so very impressed by the efforts made with the wildflower meadows that I wanted to write.
It was a very welcome surprise to see the wonderful show when I was driving into town on the A689, and of seeing the same thing along Seaton Carew front.
It looks great and will, I’m sure, be very beneficial to the local bee population.
I hope the idea catches on in our part of Cumbria!
Many congratulations to whoever decided it should be done.
