BRADLEY Saunders has been handed his opponent for his Matchroom debut – Latvia’s Ivans Levickis.

The Sedgefield boxer, who signed for Eddie Hearn last week, will take on the 22-year-old over six rounds at Liverpool on Saturday.

Saunders was added to the sold-out Echo Arena spectacular whose highlight is the grudge match between Tony Bellew and Nathan Cleverly.

The former Hartlepool light-welterweight has won all 10 of his pro fights – nearly all in whirlwind fashion with eight stoppages on his record.

On paper, Levickis looks a tricky opponent even though he has lost more bouts than he’s won (14 defeats compared to 13 victories).

But 12 of his 13 successes have come early, including an away-from-home second-round nockout of an unbeaten Italian prospect in Lazio in September, Alessandro Caccia.
