Hartlepool go into tomorrow’s home game against Guisborough hoping to win three things.
Firstly they will be hoping they can beat the poor forecast and play in conditions more acustomed to cricket.
They will then be hoping they can finally win the toss before ending a poor run of results with a victory.
Guisborough are just above Pool in the table but are still some way behind leaders Darlington and second placed Richmond.
Darlington have been the stand out side so far this year although Richmond will feel hard done by having had seven games ruined by the weather.
Pool are able to name a strong side for the visit of Guis, who for several years were the leading side in the league, and have had professioanls at their club like Phil Simmons and Murray Goodwin.
Jon Cannon returns to the side and he will be hoping to bring som more runs to the table.
Marc Symington has been among the runs of late and he will be hoping he can contribute, but at a much quicker pace.
Kas Bodhisha has scored runs without turning it into a big score, and that must surely be around the corner for the Sri Lankan star.
With the ball, Symington and Bodisha have been key, although Anth Fawcett has had a much improved season in comparison to last term.
A win for either side with ensure that they are firmy placed within the top five of the Premier league.
l BLACKHALL do not have a game tomorrow. They are next in action a week tomorrow when they entertain Darlington (1.30pm start).
