Horden are now in their highest position in the league this season after completing a hat-trick of league wins.

Horden are now in the top five after beating Hylton and Bill Quay last weekend, adding to the derby victory a fortnight ago against Easington.

For the match tomorrow, Liam Irving returns, but Matt Billyard is likely to miss the rest of the season having broken his ankle playing in a football friendly.

Skipper Carl Watson said: “Our season is back on track after the wins against Hylton and Bill Quay.

“I have said it for a long time now that we have been in a false position in the table.

“However, now that we have climbed into the top five, we have to consolidate and climb even higher.

“We are capable of a top three finish and that is what I will be expecting from now until the end of the season.

“I am personally disappointed that I can’t bowl due to a recent operation having not yet healed, but the rest of our bowling attack are performing brilliantly to get us into a position to win matches.”

The side selected for the match tomorrow at home to Philadelphia is: C Watson, S Birks, W Birks, A Dixon, J Greenwood, L Jackson, B Green, L Irving, L Broom, S Brett, L Kumar.
