High Tunstall are into the last eight of the National Schools Cricket Championship after a thrilling victory in Yorkshire.
The Hartlepool school is set to face Leeds Grammar School away in the Northern Semi-Final, which is the national last eight.
Tunny defeated the prestigious Pocklington School, in Yorkshire, to secure their plave in the next round of the national championship.
Tunstall chose to bat first on a good wicket with Baggs and Scott established a sound platform to the innings with the visitors moving to 30/0 from six. A challenging 129/8 was posted with the irrepressible Scott scoring 82 not out.
In the field, Tunstall worked hard in boiling hot conditions with Lancaster and Baggs keeping things tight early doors.
Spin twins Knight and Rathbone took control with key wickets in the middle stages.
The hosts kept scoring boundaries, and it was down to the final over with 12 to win and Scott to bowl.
The air was tense as Scott took the ball. Four was needed from the last delivery but Scotty kept his cool to bowl a perfect yorker and the game was won.
