Pools will be looking to reach the fourth round for only the seventh time in their 112 year history and equal their best ever FA Cup performance.
Standing in their way is League One high flyers Oxford, who have lost just three of their last 24 matches in all competitions. One of those defeats came in the EFL Cup quarter final against Manchester City as they were beaten 3-1 by the Premier League champions.
