After a goalless first half, goals from Luke Armstrong, Rhys Oates and a Nicky Featherstone penalty helped secure a fairly comfortable away win for Pools.

Mo Bettamer caused a late scare from the penalty spot but Pools were able to bounce back and secure victory to guarantee a play-off place.

Dave Challinor reaction

Dave Challinor on today’s win: “I’m really pleased with the result. I thought the performance was very good and deserving of the three points. “We should have been in front by half time and the only negative is the goal we conceded. We became over confident.”
