Danny Elliott posts classy goodbye message after confirming Hartlepool United exit
The 25-year-old striker moved to Victoria Park from Chester on a short-term deal in April – scoring his first and only goal in the 4-2 defeat against Maidenhead United.
However, Elliott will be fondly remembered in Pools’ history after dispatching his spot-kick in the National League promotion final penalty shootout win over Torquay United.
