The highly-rated 18-year-old is yet to make a first-team appearance for Pools but has attracted plenty of interest from several Premier League clubs so far this year.

Earlier on Friday, Dave Challinor told The Mail: “We’re close to agreeing a new deal with Brad.

"We need to look after him and his development so that will involve him going out on loan and getting some games.”
