Hartlepool United looking to right the wrongs from FA Trophy on Boxing Day return to Harrogate Town
Pools responded well from their FA Trophy disappointment against Harrogate at the CNG Stadium with a 1-0 win over Dagenham & Redbridge at Victoria Park to kick-off their National League Christmas schedule with a win.
Now they’ve got the chance to continue to build some momentum when they return to North Yorkshire on Thursday.

“Unfortunately we went there and at one stage we were cruising at 2-0 and we couldn’t see what was going to happen.
“It’s not so much payback, we just need to go there and show what a good team we are to get a positive result out of it.
“I’m sure you can use the FA Trophy match to inspire the players hopefully to get a bit of revenge or anything that will help us to right that wrong.

“If we’re on it and positive with our play then we’ve got goals in our team. But like we showed on the negative side, we are prone to conceding which we need to cut out consistently.”
