Pools will definitely be without Luke Williams (hamstring), Luke Molyneux (foot) and Peter Kioso (concussion) with Gavan Holohan (back) and Aaron Cunningham (knee) doubts for the trip to the Laithwaite Community Stadium (3pm kick-off).

Despite the injury concerns, Challinor was fairly upbeat when delivering his team news update.

“We’re not doing too badly but we’ve got a couple of little bits to contend with, hopefully we can add a body or two before the weekend but we’ll have to see how things pan out with that,” he said.

“Aaron Cunningham picked up a medial strain in the game on Tuesday night so he’ll be doubtful for the weekend.

“Gav Holohan got through 70-minutes on Tuesday before we brought him off so fingers crossed we’ll have him but it’s a management thing for him with the issue he has with his lower back, he should be fine.

“Missing Peter is a blow and he’ll not be available for the weekend and will be touch and go for the FA Cup replay on Tuesday but fingers crossed he’ll get back soon.

“Luke Williams and Luke Molyneux are still not available.”

Molyneux is back in training but is some way off being considered for a place in the starting line-up while Williams suffered another set-back with his hamstring injury earlier this week.
