The 18-year-old has joined National League North side Blyth Spartans on a season long loan to get some much-needed game time with the view of him being in the first-team picture in the coming seasons.
But with the highly-rated goalkeeper attracting interest from a number of Premier League clubs, the new deal also protects Pools from being left short-changed over one of their top talents, as they have been in the past.

“Brad’s new deal has been in the offing for quite a bit. He's obviously had interest in him last season, he went into Chelsea for a week and did well but nothing has materialized from that at the moment.
"There’s lots of potential there and we’ve got to make decisions over where we see the players and we’ve had a good chat with him.
"It’s important that we got his contract situation sorted out and got him tied down for a longer-term.

"Him playing games at a level that’s just one division below us will give him that experience and will be a big step up to what he was playing at last season. It’ll be really beneficial for everybody, ourselves, Brad individually and Blyth as well.”
