Poolies quickly snapped up all 930 tickets for the National League fixture as the team look to get revenge on the side that dumped them out of the FA Trophy last week.

The 60-mile trip is the shortest Pools have to make in the National League and that will be reflected by their largest league away following at the CNG Stadium.

“It’s amazing, I’ve got people going to the game and my wife looked and saw we’d sold 750 tickets in a day or two,” said United manager Dave Challinor

“To go there and look forward to that as an away team with home support is massive. We’ll have close to 1,000 people there who we’ll want to give something to cheer about so hopefully the place is rocking and we get three points!”
