Hartlepool United to face Crewe Alexandra in the first round of Carabao Cup

In a busy day of fixtures, with the League Two fixture list also released, Pools have discovered their opponents for the league cup.

They take part in the competition again having won promotion back to the Football League.

Pools will be at home and the tie is to be played the week beginning August 9.
