Aldershot are “optimistic” Saturday’s clash with Hartlepool United will go ahead.
Snowfall has been light around the EBB Stadium in the last 24 hours, but much heavier downfall’s are expected between now and the weekend.
According to the club a number of heavy-duty pitch covers have been laid to make sure the EBB Stadium surface is playable for the visit of Matthew Bates & Co.

Although, a call on whether the game will go ahead will not be made until Friday evening or Saturday morning.
Poolies will hope it is the latter, given that many will be leaving in the early hours to make the 289mile, five and a half hour journey south.

On the pitch, Shots head groundsman Colin Wilson told the club’s official website: “We know how well it [the pitch] stands up to inclement weather.
"I’m constantly monitoring it and I’m optimistic the game will go ahead.
