After the news emerged that Hartlepool United must travel to FA Cup giant killers, Salford City, in the second round, their Class of '92 owners seem to be in confident mood.
Neville brothers, Gary and Phil, who both hold a 10 per cent stake in the Evostik Northern Premier League club, alongside fellow Man United legends, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt, gave their reactions to the draw on twitter last night.
Salford earned a famous 2-0 win over League Two outfit Notts County in round one and Gary labelled a second successive home draw against a League Two side as 'a fantastic home draw'.
Meanwhile, brother Phil was also in confident mood, saying it was a terrific draw and even jokingly posted a photo of brother, Gary, interviewing Real Madrid star, Cristiano Ronaldo attaching the caption: "We're playing Hartlepool in the next round of the cup, fancy a months loan?"
Pools fans needn't worry about the the three-time Ballon D'Or winner terrorising their defence, but will hope to avoid another defeat at the hands of a side three tiers below them in the FA Cup, after last year's home defeat to Blyth Spartans at the same stage.
