GRAHAM Alexander will not be taking Hartlepool United lightly - despite the difference in position between the teams in Sky Bet League Two.
His Fleetwood Town side are going along nicely in sixth place and last week were 1-0 winners at Dagenham & Redbridge.
Alexander has a powerful squad, made even stronger this week by the arrival of two loan signings, striker Mika Mandron, from Sunderland, and midfielder Alex Marrow, from Blackburn Rovers.
But he’s aexpecting a tough test at Highbury tomorrow.
“It will be a difficult afternoon,” said Alexander.
“I remember the game up there, we won 1-0 but that might have been harsh on Hartlepool.
“They were very good on the day and that was one of those results we ground out.
“They’ve got quite a few threats, they play the ball really well.
“And we need to be as hard to beat as we’ve been for the past two to get anything.
“We’re going in confident and are looking to win.
“But we can’t start running before we’re walking properly.
“That’s the message we’re trying to get across. It’s all about the basics, the work rate, the discipline within our shape and our defending.
“If we do that we’ve got goals in our team and we can score past anybody.”
