Hartlepool United boss Craig Harrison has been awarded the Vanarama National League Manager of the Month for October.
Three wins and two draws in the month saw Harrison beat off competition from Dover Athletic's Chris Kinnear and Guiseley's Paul Cox to land the gong.
Pools started October with a 1-0 win over Barrow before following it up with three points at Solihull Moors. Draws at Sutton United and Tranmere then followed before last weekend's impressive 2-0 win at Torquay United, which saw Harrison's men edge to within six points of the fifth tier summit.
Speaking to the club website, Harrison said: "It's brilliant news for the club. I'm humbled.
"This is a fantastic award to win because there are lots of very good managers in the league but it’s definitely one for the whole team.
"The staff and the players have all put the hours of hard work in on the training pitch so it’s certainly not an individual award – this is a collective reward for staff and players because we really have come closer together over the last month or six weeks."
