Hartlepool United’s fringe players will get the chance to strut their stuff in midweek.

Pool Reserves face two games in two days this week.

Tomorrow, they play their second league match of the season against Notts County at Billingham Town (kick-off 1pm), while on Wednesday they travel to Darlington RA in the Durham Cup.

Ronnie Moore and Sam Collins are likely to send out the majority of their league bench in one of the two games.

Keeper Peter Denton could feature in both while he will be joined at Bedford Terrace or Brinkburn Road by Brad Walker, Lewis Hawkins, Kudus Oyenuga and Connor Smith, who were unused subsat Exeter City.

Harry Worley was dropped to the bench and he too could get some game-time ahead of the League Two visit of Cambridge this Saturday.
