PAUL Murray has been named as Hartlepool United’s supporters’ Player of the Year.
The veteran midfielder collected his trophy prior to Saturday’s 2-1 win over Leyton Orient at Victoria Park.
Murray beat Peter Hartley and Antony Sweeney to the award.
But there was a consolation for that pair, Hartley scooping the coveted Players’ Player of the Year prize, while Sweeney was named Junior Poolies Player of the Year.
Murray, meanwhile, also took the Supporters’ Association Away Player of the Year.
