Craig Harrison made three changes to his Hartlepool United for the visit of sixth-placed Sutton United to Victoria Park.

Carl Magnay returned at right-back after mising the FA cup victory at South Shields.

It meant Michael Ledger switched to centre-half to partner Louis Laing at the heart of the defence with Scottt Harrison relegated to the bench.

Nicky Featherstone was ruled out with a groin problem, with Liam Donnelly, shaking of a back injury picked up in the warm-up at Mariners Park, deputising.

Lewis Hawkins returned to the starting XI, replacing Jack Munns who moved down to the bench.

Sutton included former Pools midfielder Simon Walton.
