Hartlepool United’s match against Notts County this afteroon at Victorioa Park has been postponed due to a waterloged pitch.
Pools made an early inspection of the Vic after continuous rain for almost 24 hours and the surface was not playable.
It was not the only League Two casualty of Boxing Day morning after the games at Accrington, Morecambe and York were also washed out.
The postponement means Pools are without a festive fixture after Monday’s trip to Carlisle United had already been re-scheduled following the floods in Cumbria.
The next match for Ronnie Moore’s side will be at Newport County next Saturday.
Moore and assistant, Sam Collins, will be working Monday as they take in matches to scout for new players for when the transfer window re-opens.
