Ronnie Moore's depleted midfield options have been boosted with the return of Lewis Hawkins and Ebby Nelson-Addy.
Carl Magnay is struggling with injury while Kal Naismith has returned to League Two rivals Portsmouth after a loan spell to leave Moore's midfield depleted.
But Hawkins and Nelson-Addy are now both back at Pools and could make the squad for the visit of Derby County in the FA Cup third round this weekend.
Central midfielder Hawkins has spent the last two months on loan with Evo-Stik Division One North outfit Spennymoor Town but has now been recalled to Victoria Park.
Likewise, Nelson-Addy is also back at The Vic after spending a month on loan with National League North side Worcester City.
Neither have featured regularly under Moore but both could be called upon to bolster the options from the bench this weekend.
