RONNIE Moore has revealed Jordan Jones WILL be coming back to Hartlepool United on loan from Middlesbrough.

The 20-year-old’s one-month loan deal expired after the 1-0 win at Morecambe, with Jones an unused sub.

We had a word with Middlesbrough and they were unhappy he wasn’t starting games.

He wasn’t included on the bench at the Kassam Stadium last night for the 2-0 win over Oxford United but Moore has confirmed he will be returning.

Championship side Boro were not happy Jones hadn’t been starting games – he has only featured from the start once – during his loan spell at The Vic.

But Moore has told SportMail Jones is keen to return and he will be in the squad for the visit of Mansfield Town on Saturday.

“Jordan is coming back,” Moore told SportMail.

“We had a word with Middlesbrough and they were unhappy he wasn’t starting games.

“But we have had a word and he wants to come back, which is important, and he will be available on Saturday.”

Pacy Jones is comfortable in midfield or in a more advanced forward role.

Jones’ place in the squad was taken by new signing Ebby Nelson-Addy at Oxford last night.

Moore had said he would be a few weeks away from making his debut but he was included to give him some experience of a matchday.

The Pools boss added: “Ebby isn’t too far off.

“He is coming on in training and we wanted to give him the experience of being on the bench and in and around the squad.”

Marvin Morgan, on loan from Plymouth Argyle, didn’t travel again and neither did winger Jack Compton.

Moore said they didn’t fit into his system for the away games at Morecambe and Oxford.

He added: “I left one or two behind again for the same reasons.”
