HARTLEPOOL United suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Dagenham & Redbridge at Victoria Park on Tuesday night.

Read Richard Mennear’s player ratings below and your #TerraceTweets following the latest loss at Victoria Park.

Player Ratings:

Scott Flinders: 6. Could have done better with the first goal. Looked like it took a deflection but he should be doing better.

Michael Duckworth: 6. Played as a right winger at times in the first-half, was hugging the touchline and eager to attack.

Neil Austin: 6. At fault for the second goal through a misplaced pass. Performed okay aside from that though. Defence as a unit needs to improve.

Matthew Bates: 6. Improved performance from the weekend but didn’t look overly comfortable playing against Cureton.

Darren Holden: 6. Was really eager to get forward. Needs to work on his defensive side though, could have done better with their opener.

Stuart Parnaby: 6. Played centrally and looked more comfortable. Dropped deeper when Duckworth pushed on down right-wing to cover. Went off injured.

Brad Walker: 6. Steady without being too flash. Put a shift in.

Ryan Brobbel: 7. Contender for MOM. Bright, energetic and creative performance from the speedy winger. Deserves a run in side.

Michael Woods: 6. Promising performance at times. Showed some nice touches. Been out of league football a while and needs to build back up to it.

Luke James: 7. MOM. Didn’t let the transfer speculation affect his performance. Showed pace, energy, strength and had a couple of efforts on goal.

Jonathan Franks: 6. Should have scored in the first-half. Had two good chances to do so. Usual industrious shift from Franks.

Jack Compton: 6. Has a point to prove after being dropped altogether at the weekend. Made some nice runs and got in good positions but snatched at chances.

Marlon Harewood: 6. Looked keen to impress after being dropped, Charged around a lot but didn’t worry Daggers goalkeeper.

Lewis Hawkins: 6. Showed some nice touches but game had already gone.

#terracetweets, very worrying times at the club, things need to change or face relegation simple as that

Callum Hope ‏@Callum12Hope

@HPoolMail Better, Midfield with Woods Parneby was correct choice. Need to take more chances instead of trying to pass when through on goal

Barry Hodge ‏@bazzahpool

@HPoolMail I think that’s the final straw for cooper, no goals scored in the league shows we have massive problems at the club!

Geoff Wilkinson ‏@wilksatwit

@HPoolMail #terracetweets looking for plus points, cheese was nice on my burger

Neil Smith ‏@smuff74

@HPoolMail #terracetweets I’m taking the positive. I’m driving back home to Fareham tomorrow and don’t have to watch them again for months.

Jonny Ridley ‏@Ridley0T

@RMennearHMail how long before Nearney gets a go, so many mistakes made by centre backs and we’re only 3 games in

Terry Franks ‏@Telbut

@RMennearHMail confidence seems at an all time low & again too many players out of position

Joe Bolwell ‏@jb4pools

@RMennearHMail Im a true poolie but im disgraced to admit it at the moment. Time to go Cooper, and players attitude needs to change. total disgrace to the town!! Glad i didn’t get a season ticket, very glad! Get out while you can Luke!!! What a joke
