Pools striker Adam Boyd a Major mover to Vancouver?

IS ADAM Boyd about to do a David Beckham?

If a Daily Mail report in the early hours of Friday morning is to be believed, the Hartlepool United striker is the subject of interest by Major Soccer League side Vancouver Whitecaps.

There have been whispers around that town this week that Boyd is heading to America for their season which starts next month.

Canada would be the destination if there is any substance in the Vancouver link, though there were no facts to back up the rumour on the Daily Mail’s website.

Vancouver kick off the MSL season at home to Toronto on Saturday March 19, four days after LA Galaxy (Becks et al) visit Seattle in the opening match of the North American league.

Boyd began the season with two goals inside the first three games for Pools but has spent much of the programme on the bench.

Vancouver is a part of British Columbia better known for two of its entertainment exports, Pamela Anderson and Bryan Adams, rather than its soccer team.
