Ronnie Moore looks set to be in charge of Hartlepool United’s League Two match at York City.

The Pools manger missed Tuesday night’s Capital One Cup win at Fleetwood Town after his daughter, Charlotte, was taken ill on holiday in Spain.

Moore flew out to be with her and after seeing Charlotte’s condition improve, Ronnie hopes to get back in time for the trip to Bootham Crescent tomorrow.

Sam Collins led Pools to victory at Highbury and was prepared to take charge at York but has said Moore is trying to arrange a flight home.

“I have spoken to Ronnie this morning and things are looking promising,” Collins told Pools PlayerHD.

“Charlotte is a lot better so he’s trying to sort out a flight back in time for tomorrow’s game because I think he’s looking forward to it as much as everybody else.

“I know the chairman was really good in terms of helping him get out there the other day so I’m sure he’ll be doing the same now to get him back ready for the game.”
