Hartlepool United striker Scott Fenwick has joined Tranmere Rovers on loan until the end of the season.
Fenwick has been unable to force his way into the squad at Victoria Park in recent weeks and has been keen to move on loan to get some regular game time under his belt.
Rovers are one place outside the play-off positions in the National League and will hope that Fenwick can find the goals to help fire them back to the Football League at the first attempt.
The 25-year-old joined Pools from Northern League side Dunston UTS in November 2014 and has since scored 12 goals in 49 appearances, including one in last season’s crucial 2-1 win over Exeter City.
Fenwick will go straight into contention for Tranmere’s televised Good Friday game against Lincoln City at Prenton Park.
