JACK Barmby will make his full debut for Hartlepool United this afternoon in their Sky Bet League Two match at home to Scunthorpe United.
Colin Cooper has made two changes to his side that were beaten 2-1 away to AFC Wimbledon in midweek, with on-loan Manchester United forward Barmby and defender Sam Collins coming into the team at Victoria Park.
Marlon Harewood drops down to the bench, while Collins replaces Jack Baldwin, who would have been suspended today anyway before his £500,000 move to Peterborough United on deadline day.
On-loan Middlesbrough forward Luke Williams makes his third start for Pools, while topscorer Luke James starts up front.
Cooper also welcomes back James Poole into the squad, the forward starts on the bench, after missing the last two matches with a hamstring injury.
There is no place for winger Jonathan Franks in the Pools starting line-up for the game against the Iron.
Ahead of kick-off, Pools sit in 14th spot in Sky Bet League Two with 34 points, while today’s opponents Scunthorpe United are second in the table with 50 points.
Both teams have played 28 games and the last match between them, at the end of October, saw The Iron win 1-0 at Glanford Park.
Scunthorpe’s new boss Russ Wilcox took to the helm two months ago to replace Brian Laws.
