Team news: Moore makes two changes for Portsmouth trip with Marvin Morgan and David Mirfin starting for Hartlepool United

MARVIN Morgan and David Mirfin make their Hartlepool United debuts away to Portsmouth this afternoon.

Pools boss Ronnie Moore made two changes as he reverted to a new 3-5-2 formation at Fratton Park for the Sky Bet League Two clash.

In come striker Morgan, signed on loan from Plymouth Argyle and Scunthorpe United loanee Mirfin.

Mirfin will line up in a back three including Scott Harrison and Dan Jones, with Neil Austin and Michael Duckworth the wing backs.

In-form Scott Fenwick partners Morgan up front.

There is no place for Jack Compton on the bench, the former Portsmouth winger was linked with a Deadline Day swap deal with Andy Monkhouse.

This is the first match involving Pools since the propsoed takeover by TMH 2014 fell through on Thursday, with IOR remaining in charge.
