Ronnie Moore has named his Hartlepool United side ahead of this afternoon’s friendly at Spennymoor Town.

Pools make the short trip to Spennymoor (KO 3pm) and Moore again names a strong squad.

Moore has decided to take another look at the same two elevens that drew 1-1 at Whitby Town on Friday night, but has reversed which half they will play.

Number One goalkeeper Trevor Carson again misses out with a tight hamstring.

Michael Woods, returning from a broken leg, is not yet ready for match action and he too misses out while defender Dan Jones is nearing a return after wrist surgery.

Jones is expected to play on Tuesday night against Scunthorpe United at Victoria Park, as is Harry Worley who is nursing a calf injury.

Admission prices for the Spennymoor Town game are £5 for adults and £3 for concessions. Under 6s can get in free with a full-paying adult.

Pools First Half: Denton, Richards, Bates, Green, Oyenuga, Featherstone, Carroll, Walker, Smith, Fenwick, Oates.

Pools Second Half: Bartlett, Magnay, Harrison, Parnaby, Duckworth, Bell, Howes, Nelson-Addy, Giles, Bingham, Paynter.
