The Pools forward grabbed a goal and assist in the FA Cup clash at Huish Park as the side came from a goal down to run out as convincing 4-1 winners in what was Dave Challinor’s first game in charge of the club.

It’s been a hectic week having had to travel down to Yeovil twice, the second trip being done without an overnight stay before making the journey down south yet again to face an Ebbsfleet side currently languishing in the relegation zone.

“We’ve just had to look after ourselves because Ebbsfleet is a trek as well so it’s all been about preparing and getting in the training where we can so hopefully we can play similarly to how we did at Yeovil again on Saturday.

“We’re full of confidence and have great character in the squad.

“It would have been easy to go to Yeovil and think we’ve travelled on the day, got called off Saturday, but the lads aren’t like that.

“We want to get as far as we can and win as many games as possible.

“Winning is a habit and all the lads know that long bus journey home is always a hell of a lot better going back after we’ve won!”
