They are three words very much interlinked as Boro head into the new year looking to maintain their pursuit of an automatic promotion place.
In-form Boro travel to Blackpool on Monday hoping to put some more distance between themselves and their rivals in the npower Championship shoot-out.
Tony Mowbray’s side went into today’s programme in third place and in great heart, although he admits the trip to Bloomfield Road will be one of their most demanding tests (kick-off 3pm).
“It’s a good fixture against a club who were in the Premier League last year and are in touching distance of the play-offs,” said Mowbray.
“We have to go there and try to keep our momentum.
“After the loss against West Ham [at the end of November] it was important to bounce back well and I think we’ve done OK.”
