And reports today suggest that Boro could be set to swoop for an international goalkeeper, although they will have to battle another Championship side for his signature.

Middlesbrough are set to offer a contract to goalkeeper Boaz Myhill, whose contract at West Brom expired at the end of last season. The Welsh international could be set to reunite with former manager Tony Pulis and offer some more competition between the sticks. But the Baggies are said to have also put an offer on the table for the experienced stopper, who has continued to train with the side over the summer (Sun)
