With the Championship season only six games new, clubs are continuing to be linked with potential players that could improve their squad.

And today's reports say it will be a three horse race between Middlesbrough, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest for a former Premier League winger. Rumours also suggest Villa failed to lure a Liverpool forward to the club in the summer.
