Adama Traore remains 'happy' at Middlesbrough

In-demand attacker Adama Traore remains happy at Middlesbrough, despite speculation linking him with a move away from the Riverside Stadium.

Traore has been linked with several clubs this summer - including Premier League trio Chelsea, Newcastle United and Everton - following an impressive campaign on Teesside.

Having joined Boro on a four-year deal in 2016, the Spaniard pushed on under the stewardship of Tony Pulis in the second half of last season and put in a number of eye-catching displays as the side reached the play-off semi-finals.

Boro's failure to return to the Premier League had cast doubts over the forward's future at the club, with a number of top sides thought to be interested.

But the Northern Echo have suggested that Traore remains 'happy' at the Riverside Stadium and is fully focused on the campaign ahead.

The report suggests that Traore is happy to remain at the club and isn't angling for a move away.

The 22-year-old was part of the Middlesbrough squad who jetted off to Austria last week and is expected to feature in the club's remaining pre-season friendlies.
