Middlesbrough defender Adam Jackson has joined Coventry City on loan for a month.

The 21-year-old centre-back - yet to make his league debut for Boro - joins the strong Boro contingent at the Sky Blues.

Hartlepool-born midfielder Bryn Morris is already at the club on loan, while ex-Boro boss Tony Mowbray is the manager.

Morris, who captained England Under-20s last week, is at the Ricoh Arena for the full season.

Jackson, a member of Paul Jenkins’ Under-21s side, enjoyed an impressive pre-season in which he featured in several first-team matches, including the Riverside date with Spanish La Liga side Getafe.

He has represented England at junior international level.
